Project "Mobile Didactics (MobiDics)"
MobiDics, abbreviated from "Mobile Didactics", is a mobile platform on didactic methods and knowledge for higher education. MobiDics is a cooperative project of the LMU Munich (Program PROFIL / Sprachraum) and the Technische Universität München (former Multimodal Information Processing Group). The University of Göttingen meanwhile also joined the project group. The interdisciplinary cooperation of didacts, computer scientists and pedagogues is coordinated by the "Lehrstuhl für Informatik mit Schwerpunkt Eingebettete Systeme" (Chair of Embedded Systems) of the University of Passau.
If you currently gather experience in higher education at a university, MobiDics offers you a systematic and comprising overview on didactic methods and gives you the opportunity to acquire a personal repertoire thereof and deepened knoweldege.
If you are a more experiences docent, you can learn and find out about subject- or task-specific peculiarities, but additionally also discuss with other users in a community on methods for special use cases.
If you are a decision maker concerned with education at university, such as as docent or responsible person for studies, you can add novel methods, compare them along several dimensions, and rate their efficiency - but also, of course, conduct research on novel methods as well.
MobiDics supports you for ad-hoc demands via an Android App and via a classic web frontend.
